to UTAF.org. UTAF stands for 'United Traveling Aliens Foundation'. We are a nonpolitical foundation whose main objective is to assist in making the lives of people who are in transition while having fled their countries due to fear of persecution because of religion, political opinion or other social upheavals.
We assist in providing the basic needs – shelter, food and medical care for families, the majority of which are women, children and the elderly. These people could be in the process of being evaluated by the UN for refuge status. Many applicants to the UN may spend many years before waiting to be accepted as refugees or a third country would allow them for resettlement. Locating these people is one of our major tasks. Allowing them to overcome their plight and prolonging their stay until a third country is found for them to relocate is essential for the survival of many of these families.
Currently we are seeking partners who could assist us in locating and contacting either agencies or the people who are in need of assistance in either Turkey or Greece. If you are aware of either organizations who could assist us in any way or people who need help, please contact us.
